Markets and trading terms
Subscribe to a market package, attach it to a server, and configure its trading terms.
Market setup has two parts: subscribe at the organization level, then attach that subscription to each server that should use it. A purchase alone does not make the markets available on every server.
Before you begin
Section titled “Before you begin”Use an Owner or Finance role for subscription purchases. Use an Owner, Admin, or Developer role to manage server attachments. To complete both parts with one login, use the organization owner.
You need a connected server before attaching markets. Review the package’s instruments, displayed price, connection allowance, and history allowance before subscribing.
Subscribe to a package
Section titled “Subscribe to a package”- Open organization markets
Click Markets in the bottom dock. Under Available packages, review the instruments and features included in each package.
- Choose a package
Click Subscribe. For a paid package, select Months to pay in advance and review the total. The current choices are 1, 2, 3, 6, 12, 18, or 24 months.
- Activate or pay
For a free development package, click Activate. For a paid package, click Continue to payment and complete the payment process.
- Check the subscription
Under Your subscriptions, check Status, Payment, and Paid through. Paid access becomes available after payment confirmation. Wait for the subscription to become active before attaching it.
Attach a subscription to a server
Section titled “Attach a subscription to a server”- Open Servers and select the target server.
- Open its Markets page.
- Click Attach Market and choose Market package.
- Review the spread, charges, lot limits, margin rate, and UTC schedule.
- Click Attach Market to save.
- Confirm that an active attachment card appears for the package. Check the intended symbols in Terminal before allowing trading.
If Attach Market is disabled, check that you have an active subscription that is not already attached to this server. A pending or expired subscription is not ready to attach.
Set trading terms
Section titled “Set trading terms”The terms apply to the package on this server. You can attach the same organization subscription to other servers and configure their terms separately.
| Field | What you choose |
|---|---|
| Spread type | Floating (provider bid / ask) uses the provider spread; Fixed spread lets you enter Spread points. |
| Commission per lot | The commission value applied per lot under this attachment. |
| Long swap points / Short swap points | The swap-point values for long and short positions. |
| Minimum lot / Maximum lot | The permitted lower and upper trade-size limits. |
| Lot step | The allowed trade-size increment. |
| Margin rate | The margin-rate setting for the attachment. |
| Daily open (UTC) / Daily close (UTC) | The daily session times, expressed in UTC. |
| Sessions and swap rates | Checked weekdays are trading days. Each day’s number is its swap multiplier; unchecked days are market-closed. |
The swap multiplier and the trading-day checkbox are separate controls. Review both instead of assuming that clearing a day changes its multiplier.
Edit or detach a market
Section titled “Edit or detach a market”On the package’s server attachment card, click Edit to change its terms, then Save Terms. The package selector is locked while editing; you are changing the existing attachment.
Detach removes the attachment from this server. It does not cancel or refund the organization’s subscription.
Extend or renew access
Section titled “Extend or renew access”Return to Markets in the dock and inspect Your subscriptions.
- Pay continues an outstanding payment flow when available.
- Extend adds paid time to an active paid subscription when available.
- Renew starts payment for a past-due subscription when available.
- Under review means a payment submission exists and is awaiting its outcome.
Check Paid through after confirmation. Free active packages do not show an extension action. The current Console does not provide a subscription cancellation button.
