Connect a VPS server

Attach a deployed Koneth Server to your organization using a connection link and paid license.

Use the connection link generated by your deployed server’s /setup page. It opens the Console page titled Connect VPS Server.

  • Use an Owner, Admin, or Developer role with permission to manage servers.
  • Have an active, paid server license that is not already attached to another server.
  • Ask the server administrator for a fresh connection link from the deployed server’s setup page.

The server administrator must complete setup and validation before generating the link. If you also operate the server, use its Validate and create connection link action, then Copy connection link after setup succeeds. This guide covers attaching that deployment in Console, not installing or maintaining the VPS.

  1. Sign in to the right organization

Confirm that you are using the organization that owns the license. A license from another organization will not appear in the selector.

  2. Open Connect VPS

Open the generated connection link while signed in to Console. The form reads the endpoint and pairing token from that link. If you are not signed in, sign in to the organization that owns the unused license, then open the link again.

  3. Paste and check the connection link

Paste the complete link into Server connection link. The input hides the link. Check the displayed VPS endpoint against the server you intended to connect, without sharing the secret portion.

  4. Choose a license

Select Unused server license. Only active licenses that are not already attached to a server are available. Check the product name and account capacity.

  5. Connect

Click Connect Server and wait. On success, Console opens the server overview. Confirm its name, environment, server ID, and capacity.

Next, review Server configuration, attach markets, and create a trading account.

Problem Check
No unused active server license is available The purchase must be confirmed, and the license must not belong to another connected server. Check CreditsPurchase History.
Connect Server is disabled Paste a complete valid link and select a license. Copy the original link again if part of it is missing.
The connection link expired Ask the server administrator for a new link, then use it promptly.
Server connection fails Check the displayed error and ask the administrator to verify the public server address and completed setup.
Connection timed out Reopen Servers first to see whether the server was connected before attempting the operation again.

Do not buy another license just because a pending purchase has not yet appeared as available. Resolve its payment status first.
