Get started

Create your organization and follow the setup checklist through to your first trading account.

This walkthrough is for the person setting up a Koneth organization. If you only need to trade with an account someone has supplied, start with Connect a trading account.

Have your Koneth Console address, access to your email inbox, and an organization name ready. You will also need a square organization logo before purchasing a server license and a VPS on which your administrator can deploy Koneth Server.

A paid license does not create or operate a VPS. After the license becomes active, deploy Koneth Server, complete its /setup validation, and attach it to the organization with the generated connection link.

  1. Open signup

On the Console sign-in page, click Create an account. The signup page is titled Create your organization.

  2. Enter your organization and email

Fill in Organization name and Email, then click Send verification code. Use an inbox you can access throughout signup.

  3. Verify your email

Enter the eight-digit Verification code from your email and click Verify email. If needed, use Send a new code and enter the newest code.

  4. Set your Console password

Enter matching Password and Confirm password values with at least eight characters. Click Create organization. You arrive at Console Overview.

For later visits, use Sign in with the same email and Console password. Keep verification codes and passwords private.

  1. Upload your logo

Open Settings from the bottom dock. Under Organization, click Upload Logo and choose a square PNG, JPEG, or WebP image no larger than 2 MB. Confirm that its preview appears. See Organization settings.

  2. Prepare API credits

Open Credits to review your balance. If you will use the Management API, buy a credit package and wait for payment confirmation before making paid API requests. Set a Low Balance Threshold. See Credits and usage.

API credits do not pay for your server license, market subscriptions, or trading account balances.

  3. Buy a server license

Open Servers and click Buy License. Enter a Server Name, choose a Product and Environment, then click Next: Payment. Complete the payment process and wait for confirmation.

  4. Deploy and connect your server

After payment approval, have the server administrator deploy Koneth Server on the VPS and complete its /setup validation. Open the generated connection link while signed in to Console, select the unused active license, and click Connect Server. See Connect a VPS server.

  5. Configure the server

Open the server and click Configure. Choose Account currency, enter the Supported leverage values, and click Save Configuration. Review these settings before creating trading accounts.

  6. Subscribe to markets

Open Markets from the dock. Choose a package and click Subscribe. Complete payment for a paid package; a free development package uses Activate instead. Wait until the subscription is active.

  7. Attach markets to the server

Return to Servers, open your server, and select Markets. Click Attach Market, choose the subscription, review the trading terms and UTC schedule, then confirm. See Markets and trading terms.

  8. Create your first trading account

Open the server’s Accounts page and click Create Account. Set the name, initial balance, and leverage. Supply a trading password or leave it blank to generate one. Wait for Creating… to become an account number, then open that account.

  9. Check Terminal access

Under Terminal credentials, copy the account number and trading password securely. In Koneth Terminal, select the correct organization and server, then sign in. Confirm that the intended markets and prices appear. See Connect a trading account.

  • Check the exact server name and whether it is Demo or Live.
  • Check the account currency, balance, and leverage.
  • Confirm that market subscriptions are active and attached to this server.
  • Share credentials only through an approved secure channel. Use an investor password when read-only access is enough.
  • Confirm queued setup operations have finished before repeating them.

You can now manage trading accounts, record balance adjustments, or create an API key. Review Members and roles before adding team access.
