Developer accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep it current, and comply with the requirements applicable to your account.
You are responsible for activity carried out using your credentials and for promptly disabling compromised keys.
API licence and scope
Koneth grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use its documented APIs and SDKs to build and operate your integration.
Your right to access data is limited by the permissions granted to your application, the organization’s authorization, and applicable law.
Credentials and security
Store API keys server-side where possible, encrypt secrets at rest, use least-privilege scopes, and rotate secrets when needed.
Do not expose API keys in client code, public repositories, screenshots, logs, or support messages.
You must notify Koneth promptly if you believe a credential or integration has been compromised.
Fair and authorized use
Follow rate limits, retry guidance, webhook verification requirements, and documented API behavior.
Do not bypass access controls, scrape unauthorized data, share credentials between unrelated parties, disrupt the service, or use the API to build a substitute service from Koneth’s proprietary data.
Trading and automation safety
An integration that can create, change, or close trading positions must include appropriate safeguards, error handling, permissions, and user disclosures.
You are responsible for validation, testing, execution limits, and monitoring of the integrations you operate.
An API acknowledgement is not a guarantee of an external market execution.
End-user and organization data
Process data only for authorized purposes, retain it only as needed, and honor applicable access, correction, and deletion obligations.
You must explain your integration’s material data practices and obtain required authorizations.
Do not use trading data to profile, target, or make decisions about individuals without an appropriate legal basis.
Documentation and changes
Koneth may update APIs, deprecate fields, or introduce new requirements as the platform evolves.
Follow documented migration periods and versioning guidance where provided. Koneth may suspend unsafe or undocumented use.
Third-party components
Your integration may use third-party data, services, or open-source components.
You must comply with their terms and licences. Koneth is not responsible for independent third-party services except as required by law or a separate written agreement.
Developer content and intellectual property
You retain rights in content you create, subject to the licences needed for Koneth to host, test, distribute, or operate it.
You must not use Koneth names, marks, screenshots, or materials in a misleading way or imply endorsement without permission.
Monitoring and enforcement
Koneth may monitor API reliability, security, quota use, and compliance with these terms.
Koneth may rate-limit, restrict, or suspend an integration that creates a security, legal, availability, data-protection, or platform-integrity risk.
Where practical, Koneth will notify the responsible developer and allow a reasonable opportunity to remedy the issue.
Terms and contact
These Developer Terms supplement the Terms of Service and any applicable business agreement. The Terms of Service govern matters such as liability, termination, and governing law.
Developer legal questions may be sent to hello@koneth.com.
